The Mavs lost tonight. I still love them. I almost posted after the Warriors game last week. We lost that one, too. Then, we played an AWESOME game and beat the Knicks. Then, a horrible one and got killed by the Lakers. So it goes. Anyways, I was going to write about Harrison Barnes, an Ames, Iowa kid. Then, a few days later ----- dunk of the year. Please watch.
Also, I have been an Old Spice guy since Swagger first came out, which is weird. Anyways, this ad is cool, too.
Ok, I took it out. But, just google Dikembe and Old Spice, and you'll find it.

Gold
I am watching "Gold Rush" on which a bunch of hopeful dudes dig for gold. I like it. I recommend it.
It's also made me think about investing in gold.
I also wonder how realistic it would be to back money with gold again. I just kinda accepted that the gold standard ship had sailed, but maybe I'm wrong.
The Lakers are 0-3. I don't think that means anything. Seriously. I guess people have to talk about it, but even if it's surprising, I don't think it's worthy of the front page. It will be interesting to see as the year goes the mix of Dwight, Nash, Kobe, and Pau. I wish I could be in that locker room.
