I really like the idea of poker being friendly and open to new players. I think the Womens' Event is an amazing example of that. Every year, I get a little jealous that I can't play it. Or, won't, I guess.
I tell my students that if they are doing something where if everyone were doing it, things wouldn't work - then they're being rude. So, this excerpt stood out to me.
"Do you understand this, Brandon Uhl? Do you understand what happens, if everybody thinks like you do? Or did it never cross your mind?"
I think that sums up why guys shouldn't take advantage of this loophole any longer. Let the women play. And, maybe emulate the positive aspects of their game in yours.
